In 2015, Briar earned the title of International Community Bootblack (ICBB) and was honored as a nominee for the 2016 Pantheon of Leather; Woman of the Year award. Their leadership continues to shine as a member and Secretary of Firedancers Dallas, and they were instrumental in founding and running DFW Bootlab pre-pandemic—recently reopening and passing it on as they transition toward retirement.

Beyond their personal journey, Briar is deeply committed to volunteerism and mentorship within the community. One of their most fulfilling roles is serving as part of Leslie’s Team Shine at IML, ensuring others have the support and encouragement to thrive.
