What buying a ticket means

Buying a ticket means agreeing to AKW's Code of Conduct and the event's Agreement and Release of Liability. Read them. They're short, and they're the actual rules rather than a formality.

  • Ask first.

    Ask before you touch anyone, including for a hug. Ask about pronouns if you're not sure. Both are normal here.

  • Respect runs both ways.

    Harassment, including nonconsensual photography, unwelcome sexual attention, and intimidation, isn't tolerated from anyone: attendees, sponsors, or staff.

  • Violations can end your weekend, without a refund.

    AKW can ask you to stop, remove you from the event, or bar you from coming back. Buying a ticket means agreeing to that.
